COUNCIL CALL

MORE than 500 people signed a petition calling on Sefton Council to help solve the problem of workers parking along residential roads in Birkdale.

Eric Beninson, a local resident, will present his case, backed by 512 signatures, at full council at Southport Town Hall tonight, Thursday, April 19.

He is calling for improved measures around Trafalgar Road, namely near Smedley Hydropathic Centre.
