CBeebies’ Justin returns to show
JUSTIN Fletcher, star of CBeebies, is coming back to the Southport Flower Show and you can take the kids free to see him.
The entertainer, known to millions of children for his shows Justin’s House, Gigglebiz and Something Special with Mr Tumble, is among a string of familyfriendly attractions at this year’s show.
Children aged under 16 are given free entrance with an accompanying adult and this year’s Southport Flower Show – partnered by Everest – has more entertainment for the kids than ever before.
Justin returns after delighting young visitors at last year’s show.
He said: “I am really looking forward to returning to the Southport Flower Show this year to see you all. It was so much fun last year I had to come back for some more singing and dancing!
“Come down to the Celebrity Theatre on either Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th August and I’ll be there ready to entertain you all.”
In the outdoor arena, kids can also enjoy the shows by dog agility performers Adrian and Caroline Slater and Ben Potter’s eagle and vulture experience.
Around the show there are stilt walkers, face painters and magicians as well as storytelling sessions for the little ones.
General manager Ray Roukin said: “We are so excited to welcome Justin back to Southport Flower Show. He was such a hit last year we know our younger visitors will be thrilled to see him.
“There are not many places you can take the kids for free and this year’s show offers the best entertainment for the whole family and is great value for money.”
The theme for this year’s show is “Once Upon A Time”, with organisers inviting visitors to step into the story.
Southport Flower Show is the UK’s largest independent flower attracting more than 50,000 visitors a year.
The show takes place at Victoria Park from Thursday, August 16 to Sunday, August 19.
