TRACE A RELATIVE

CAN any readers help? I am trying to trace a long lost relative. I don’t really hold much information other than he was born Christopher Winstanley, son of Margaret Heather Winstanley (known as Heather).

Heather passed away in Southport in 1973. We think Christopher was born in around 1959. We believe that he was adopted after Heather had passed away, so he may no longer be known as Winstanley. Please email me.

ENJOY OUR ROSES

HESKETH Park’s Rose Garden was given a full makeover by Sefton Council in 2015 and volunteers are helping to maintain it throughout the year.

Over the next few weeks it will be coming into maximum bloom.

There are over 600 rose bushes comprising 86 varieties arranged in 19 beds.

Here you will find such beauties as Boscobel, Molineux, Lady Emma Hamilton, Princess Anne and Darcey Bussell.
