Law firm’s charity boost

CLIC Sargent, the children and young people’s cancer charity, has been chosen by Brown Turner Ross as its charity of the year in hope to raise vital funds and awareness.

The Southport and Liverpool based firm, which has been practicing law for more than 130 years, has been supporting good causes for many years and for the next 12 months will be supporting CLIC Sargent in the fight to save young lives.

Brown Turner Ross director Kendra McKinney said: “The work that CLIC Sargent does makes a real difference to young cancer patients and their families with the specialist support they give.

“Brown Turner Ross is proud to be working with CLIC Sargent and helping to ensure they continue to provide the life-enhancing support that people rely on to cope with cancer and its impact on their lives.

“As a firm, we are passionate about supporting local charities and look forward to a fruitful partnershi­p this year with CLIC Sargent.”.

Stefanie Underhill, fundraisin­g engagement manager for North Wales and Merseyside at CLIC Sargent, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Brown Turner Ross has chosen to support CLIC Sargent this year.

“When cancer strikes young lives, we fight tirelessly to limit the damage it causes beyond their health.
