Get ready for Hal­lowe’en fun

BE PRE­PARED for a fright as scary crea­tures de­scend on Coro­na­tion Park, Orm­skirk, for Hal­lowe’en.

There are plenty of scary go­ings-on planned be­tween 6pm and 8pm on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 31 at the Hal­lowe’en ex­trav­a­ganza, in­clud­ing scary walks through the woods with vam­pires, witches, ghosts and more.

Live mu­sic will be pro­vided by The Doc­tors, and Base Dance will be show­ing off their Hal­lowe’en­style dance moves.

There will also be fancy dress and best pump­kin com­pe­ti­tions at 7pm.

And on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 27, peo­ple can en­joy carv­ing scary pump­kins at Stan­ley Coro­na­tion Park, Skelmers­dale, at 10am and Rich­mond Park, Burscough, at 2pm.

An­other pump­kin carv­ing ses­sion is planned at Coro­na­tion Park, Orm­skirk at 2pm on Sun­day.

The pump­kins from the carv­ing ses­sions will be dot­ted around Coro­na­tion Park, Orm­skirk, at Hal­lowe’en and the best three will be given a prize.

Cllr Yvonne Ga­gen, West Lan­cashire Bor­ough Coun­cil port­fo­lio holder for leisure, said: “Hal­lowe’en will def­i­nitely be a scream at Coro­na­tion Park, Orm­skirk, so don’t miss this fan­tas­tic evening of fun and games for all the fam­ily.”

Chil­dren un­der 16 must be ac­com­pa­nied by an adult at all events.
