Jospice gets into gear for Ladies Day

-

ST JOSEPH’S Hospice is getting geared up for one of its biggest fundraising events of the year.

Tickets are now on sale for the hospice’s Spring Ladies Day, when women come together from around Merseyside to enjoy a good time and raise money for an important local charity.

This year, Spring Ladies Day will take place on Sunday, May 19 from 11.30am at Formby Hall and the hospice is also looking for local businesses to sponsor the event or book a stall.

Guests will be welcomed on the day with a drink on arrival, followed by a three-course lunch, live music and a disco.

There will also be a wide selection of stalls selling clothing, jewellery, cakes and accessories, as well as mini-pampering sessions for just £5.

Norma Young, head of fundraising at St Joseph’s Hospice, said: “We are launching our Spring Ladies Day nice and early this year so you have plenty of time to get it in your diary.

“Spring Ladies Day makes a great opportunity for a family gathering, a day out with your friends or a bonding day with the girls from work.

“We also have stalls available for anyone wanting to be part of our Ladies Day shopping experience and for local businesses who’d like to sponsor the event.

“We’re really keen to get local businesses involved in supporting hospice events like this so we’d love to hear from you if you run a business in the area and are looking for a charity to support through corporate sponsorship or even corporate volunteering.

“We can offer a package of publicity in return and are always happy to discuss any opportunities over the phone or in person.”

Tickets are £40 per person.
