Choristers hit right note for party day
SUTTON Grange Care Home, in Banks, has thrown a party to celebrate five years of serving the local community.
Staff, residents and guests commemorated this special occasion with Southport Rock Choir providing the entertainment alongside a dog show for those in the community to come show their dogs and win a prize.
Some of the categories were: best six legs, best trick and most obedient dog.
Sutton Grange invited Barchesters Dovedale Court residents to come and join in the fun and everybody had a fabulous time singing and dancing throughout the afternoon.
The home regularly holds events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours.
Sutton Grange was built five years ago and is situated on the grounds which was formerly Greaves Hall Hospital.
General manager, Bennett Mott said: “It is important to recognise the hard work of our staff here at Sutton Grange.
“For the past five years, we have provided a caring home for our residents as well as the best possible environment for our staff.

“All our activity co-ordinators, Alison, Irene and myself, enjoyed seeing this wonderful community event unfold and to see the residents, their families and those in the community interacting was a wonderful sight to see.
“I must also thank the Activity Coordinator from Dovedale court for bringing their residents to party with us.
