WIN tickets for Day of the Dead spectacular

-

WE’RE giving you the chance to win you and four friends or family members a Day of the Dead to remember

Southport Pleasureland’s Day of the Dead is a fun, family-friendly event that is high-energy, colourful and vibrant.

It takes its inspiration from Día de los Muertos, the Mexican celebration to commemorate friends and relatives who have died.

And this is your chance to be there, as Pleasureland’s guests, thanks to the Visiter.

With fireworks, firespinners and fire-eaters, stilt-walkers, drummers, music, dance DJ, colourfully lit rides for everyone from little ones to older thrill-seekers, street food and bars, it’s the experience to bring some hot Latin fever to the town on November 2.

For your chance to win admission for up to five people, with a ride card each, just answer this simple question and add your name, address, mobile phone number and email address:

Which dish comes from the country that is home to the Day of the Dead celebration?

Tacos Tapas Tiramisu

Together with your five admission tickets each member of your party who is old enough to ride will receive a pre-loaded ride card.

Pleasureland is taking its inspiration from the towns and cities throughout Mexico, where revellers go all-out with skullthemed makeup and hit the dressing-up box for weird and wonderful costumes, hold parades and parties, sing and dance, and drum up irresistible dance beats.

The park’s festival of colour, sugar skulls and exuberant firework finale is now in its second year.

The organisers say that the carnival atmosphere will be even bigger and better this time with plenty of surprises throughout the evening – expect the unexpected.

And, if you’re feeling arty, why not try your hand at making your own colourful traditional Day of the Dead sugar skull?
