Dance away to help animal rescue centre

-

THE weather is certainly getting chilly, but you’ll be able to warm up with your dance moves at the charity danceathon in aid of Freshfields Animal Rescue.

Following the resounding success of their danceathon in August, Sarah Dack McGuinness and Steph Jessamine are hosting another.

Christmas themed costumes and colours are encouraged at the event at 10am-noon at Dunes Leisure Centre on Sunday, November 17.

It’s going to be a morning of fun with something for everyone.

Steph said: “Sarah and I are both huge supporters of Freshfields Animal Rescue, as the work they do for neglected and abused farm animals and domestic pets is incredible.

“All of our own pets are rescues (dogs, horse, cats and more) so to use the dance and fitness experience we have to help the ‘furbabies’ who need some help and a home is a true pleasure.”

Deb Hughes, PR and fundraising officer for

Freshfields, said: “The last danceathon was hugely enjoyable and we’re looking forward very much to the next one.

“We can’t thank Steph and Sarah enough for all their hard work, which will help us so much to get food, medicines and veterinary care for animals like Jack while we search for his forever home.

“Freshfields can only thrive because of the compassion and kindness of our local community.”
