Car up for grabs in hospice’s £1 raffle

TICKETS are on sale now for Queenscourt Hospice’s Winter Raffle which this year has an amazing top prize of a Suzuki Celerio car thanks to the generosity of Chapelhouse Southport.

The car dealership has donated the exdemonstration car, which can be won for just £1 – the cost of a ticket.

Tamsin Reed, Group Marketing Manager at Chapelhouse, said: “The Southport community is very special to Chapelhouse and our directors, not only because many of our customers and employees are from the area, but because of the strong community spirit.

“That’s why we’re extremely proud to have Chapelhouse Charities, which has helped us partner with local charities over the years, such as Queenscourt, helping them to raise over £25,000.

“This year, we have been fortunate enough to donate a car to raise much needed funds that will help provide vital care to patients with serious illnesses and their families.

“We recognise just how important the work Queenscourt carry out is, and we look forward to having a long partnership supporting them.”

Raffle tickets are available to buy online at www.queenscourt.org.uk/raffle; at our seven retail shops and from reception at Queenscourt – priced at only £1.

The closing date is Monday, December 2, and the lucky winning ticket will be drawn at Queenscourt’s Santa Sprint in Southport on Sunday, December 8.

“Queenscourt Hospice needs over £4m every year in order to provide an exceptional level of care 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for patients and their families across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.

“Proceeds from the raffle provide essential funding towards these running costs.”
