£3,000 is to be won in raffle

-

IN celebration of Queenscourt’s 30 years of providing compassionate care for local people across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby, we have launched our extra special Pearl Anniversary Raffle with our biggest ever cash prize of £3,000! And, as if that wasn’t enough, there are also 13 other cash prizes to be won – three at £300 and a further ten prizes of £30.

Following the success of our first ticketless raffle last year, we are adopting the same format for our Pearl Anniversary Raffle, with tickets costing just £1, they are available to buy online or you can call the Hospice on 01704 544645.

Every ticket you buy not only gives you the chance of winning one of the 14 cash prizes, but also helps to Keep Queenscourt in Service by providing much needed funds for your local hospice.

As a small charity with a big reach, Queenscourt relies heavily on fundraising initiatives such as Raffles to generate the income needed to continue caring for patients and their families, when they need us the most.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on Queenscourt’s fundraising income, and in our Pearl Anniversary year, we need your support more than ever.

Judith Stewart, Queenscourt’s fundraising and lottery manager, said; “We had a fantastic response to our first ticket-less draw last year and we are hoping to raise £30,000 in our special Pearl Anniversary Raffle, we need your support!

“Every ticket bought will help to Keep Queenscourt in Service, thank you to everyone who has already gone online and showed support by purchasing tickets. There is still time for those of you who haven’t bought a ticket yet, and remember you have to be in it to win it!”

The closing date for entries is Tuesday, March 23, and the winning ticket will be drawn at Queenscourt Hospice on Friday, March 26. Winners will be notified shortly afterwards by email or phone.

Visit www.queenscourt.org.uk/raffle for full terms and conditions and to buy your tickets. You must be 16 years or over to play.
