Dashcam pic of bike yobs
TWO yobs were filmed “flying” down a busy Liverpool road riding a motorbike stolen from Southport on Monday August 2.
The bike filmed driving recklessly on Ormskirk Road in Aintree is one of two bikes stolen from an address in Southport.
The witness who recorded the two speeding down Ormskirk Road said: “Spotted these two idiots flying down Ormskirk Road. No protective gear, no helmets. Going at god only knows what speed.”
It has been reported that between 10pm on Wednesday July 28 and 7am on Thursday July 29, two motorcycles were stolen from a shed at an address on Forest Road.
Police are now appealing for more information about the stolen bikes.
Community Policing Inspector Graham Fisher said: “I would appeal to anyone with any information on stolen motorcycles to get in touch, or if you have seen them being ridden dangerously in your community please let us know.
“We have stepped up patrols in the Southport area in response to reports of stolen motorbikes and, rest assured, we will act on all information given to recover stolen vehicles and bring those responsible to justice.”
