What’s it all about Alfie?

At the front of the new house there are Limousin cattle in the field, with the fence to our garden keeping them on the pasture rather than ruining Andrea’s hard work! Alfie, on sighting them, ran up to the fence in his “fetch deer” mode! Limousin cattle are virtually the same colour as roe deer, but his whole attitude changed when he got close and he suddenly realised the size of them. He stopped dead and obviously had second thoughts, he ran back to me with the comical expression “you must be joking, too big for me mate!”
