Sporting Gun

preferably I would need something of 30in, steel proof 3in chamber plus suitable for magnum cartridges with auto safety.

I’m generally only looking at Beretta and Browning currently because they are well known brands. Browning seems to “feel” better than the Beretta, but no idea why, so I’m totally open to options but the gun needs to be reliable, easy and cheap to repair and service/maintain.

Kind regards,

Richard, it’s great to hear that you are getting into the sport and I will certainly put you on the list of reader testers. As for which gun to choose, that is a big question. It might be an idea to visit a friendly gun dealer and see what they say because it’s difficult to know what gun would suit you without seeing your build. I will also pass your email onto Mike George and he might be able to give you a fuller response.
