Easy to find?
I didn’t have any problems whatsoever in this department – the ground’s within easy reach of the A1 and M1, about 10 miles north of Nottingham and slap bang on the A614 close to the A6097 junction near Blidworth. 8
Disciplines:
English Skeet, Down-theLine, Automatic Ball Trap, Double Rise, Handicap by Distance, English Sporting, FITASC Sporting and Sportrap. 9
Traps:
All layouts are fitted with automatic traps, with acoustic release on the trap ranges. 9
Target quality/variety:
This ground has long been a Mecca for trap and skeet shooters thanks to its consistent backdrop and regulation targets across all the ranges. Over the years it has staged countless big championships and selection shoots in both disciplines. It’s not recognised in the same way for Sporting, but the birds are interesting and suit most abilities. 8

I didn’t check my change but it appeared to work out at about 28p per target. Good value. 8
