HIDE CONSTRUCTION
A bit of spadework can pay dividends. Just big enough and deep enough to accommodate your legs, a shallow dugout allows you to sit on the ground, shoot ahead and to both sides, and even allows standing up quickly for a shot. It’s fine in dry weather, but don’t forget to take a waterproof sheet if it’s wet! And safety first - always carefully fill in the hole before you leave.
