Pigeon meatballs in tomato sauce Ingredient­s

• Salt and pepper • Garlic powder the meatballs juicy. Once the pigeon and bacon is minced, add mixed herbs, garlic, salt and pepper to the mixture to give the meatballs plenty of taste. You can then begin to mould them into balls by hand. The tomato sauce is very simple to make, add tinned tomatoes, sweated onions with all the herbs and spices to a pan, bringing to a simmer to help release the flavours. Tomato ketchup or purée can be added to thicken the sauce if you prefer. Once the sauce is made, brown the meatballs in a pan and then place them into the oven to cook through. Cook some spaghetti, add the cooked meatballs to the sauce before serving with garlic bread.
