Zamberlan Hunter Pro GTX Boots

-

I’ve had these Zamberlan Hunter Pro GTX boots for more than a year. They are designed for mountain hunting, so are more boot than I need for walked- up days, but you can never be over prepared. What I like about the Zamberlans is that they are fully waterproof and offer great ankle support.

The boots come halfway up my calf and they have a clever innovation called the Flex System, which allows greater articulation of the ankle, so you don’t have to walk like Robocop when the boots are laced up to the top.

A wider last means that even if you have flipper feet like me, they still fit well without pinching your toes.

They are designed for winter conditions so are well insulated, but I have worn them on wet summer evening stalks and they kept my feet dry and comfortable thanks to the Gore-tex lining.

The full-grain, waxed leather makes them durable, too. I’ve worn the Hunter Pro boots a lot and they still look good.

A Vibram sole is thick enough to offer protection from even the sharpest stones and gives good grip in muddy and snowy conditions. If you are looking for a hardwearing boot that won’t let you down, then give the Hunter Pros a try.
