NO. 576 STEAmS AGAiN

Nashville, Chattanooga & St Louis Railroad 4‑8‑4 No. 576 is set to return to steam for the first time in 60 years in a $3m restoration. The 1942 Alco‑built locomotive has been on display in Centennial Park in Nashville since withdrawal in 1952, but is now the subject of a 23‑year lease to the Nashville Steam Preservation Society.
