Bluebell ‘Track Trek’

The Bluebell Railway’s fourth sponsored walk is to help locomotives and rolling stock by raising funds for the new steam museum at Sheffield Park and carriage shed at Horsted Keynes. This year’s ‘Track Trek’ on November 12 will be the longest yet, covering the whole 11-mile line including the extension to East Grinstead. The money will go towards the ‘Accessible Steam Heritage’ project at Sheffield Park, improving public access to out-ofticket locomotives, and to ‘Operation Undercover’, the improved coach accommodation at Horsted Keynes. Participants meet in the car park at East Grinstead between 9am and 10am, with return buses available from Sheffield Park at the end. A shorter five-mile walk starts from Horsted Keynes between 11.30am and 12.30pm. To register, visit
