‘BLUEBELL’ FOR TUNBRIDGE WELLS

South Eastern & Chatham Railway ‘P’ 0-6-0T No. 323 ‘Bluebell’ will be going from one former London, Brighton & South Coast Railway line to another when it visits the Spa Valley Railway. It will be the first time the Wainwright-designed locomotive has graced the SVR in preservation. The Bluebell Railway-based tank engine was scheduled to enter service on the Tunbridge Wells-Eridge line on February 24, and was expected to remain on the SVR until the end of March.
