47406: Preservation now has no working LMS ‘Jinties’ with the withdrawal of No. 47406 at the Great Central Railway in May, on the expiry of its boiler certificate (which had been due to run out in November last year but was extended). However, as detailed in SR500, it is to be overhauled for another stint of service. Here, it shunts the Travelling Post Office train at Loughborough Central on January 28 2017.
