2001: Tender chassis overhauled and lengthened

2004: Bogie platework delivered

2005: Driving and bogie wheels cast; main frames cut, joggled and delivered

2006: Atlantic House opened; original

Beachy Head regulator handle donated; tender chassis re-wheeled; Westinghouse pump obtained

2007: Main frames erected

2008: Cylinder and valve chest components delivered

2009: First motion parts cut; bogie frames assembled

2010: Valve chest assembly welded together; main axleboxes delivered; bogie and trailing wheelsets completed; cylinders fabricated

2011: Coupling and connecting rods machined and delivered; rear cylinder covers cast; axleboxes completed; smokebox saddle fabricated; cab reverser completed; valve heads cast

2012: Valve and cylinder liners fitted; frames supported on bogie and trailing truck; valve chest and cylinders fitted to the frames; covers fitted and pressure tested

2013: Main wheelsets completed and delivered; valve gear assembled; last major valve gear components delivered

2014: Reversing weighshaft and airclutch fitted; axleboxes metalled, machined and fitted; eccentric

rods fitted; most work between the frames completed; locomotive wheeled; cylinders clad; crossheads fitted; superheater header casting patterns completed

2015: Bogie and inside motion completed; running plates with splashers and steps completed; cylinder covers fitted; cab floor, sides and front assembled

2016: Connecting and coupling rods fitted; valves set; superheater header delivered; revision of internal boiler pipework completed; boiler work started; boiler tubes delivered; cab roof riveted together and fitted; mudhole patches welded into boiler; flue tubes delivered

2017: Smokebox door and surround completed; blastpipe installed; double Ramsbottom safety valves completed; reverser air valve, air-assisted reverser and clutch piped up and tested; ‘J’ pipe and main steam pipe installed in boiler and pressure tested

2018: Westinghouse pump and front footplating in place; boiler tubes installed and expanded; boiler repairs completed; tender work resumed; boiler moved outside and cladding sheets progressed

2019: Smokebox fitted and more boiler cladding made; tender pipework completed and timber to support tank fitted; cab floor and ashpan made; cab lined out; tender tank constructed and delivered; out of frames boiler hydraulic test passed

2022: First steaming?
