Stirling area sport personalities and others who have made their mark in business and the academic world have been recruited as models for the latest retail campaign by The Thistles shopping centre.

Sports stars Adam Ashe and Finn Russell and student Florie McLeish plus dads Michael Rapport and Kevin Porter to professional Linda Grant have been photographed against the backdrop of Stirling Castle and The Thistles itself wearing clothes available at shops there.

Glasgow Warriors and Stirling County rugby star Adam, who is also a Scottish Rugby Elite Development player, enjoys golfing, skiing and playing the drums. He wears Fat Face and River Island for the campaign, named Living Brand.

As one of the country’s most gifted young rugby talents, with his stand off position at Glasgow Warriors and Stirling County, as well as for Scotland assured, Finn Russell’s formidable presence translates in the style stakes too. Best typified as urban cool, the sports ace wears River Island along with Fred Perry, Red Herring and Mantaray at Debenhams for Living Brand.

Dunblane sports student and rising Scottish triathlete talent Florie McLeish is a dedicated follower of fashion and loves nothing more than swapping her practical sportswear at university for the latest high street trends.

Describing her personal style as functional streetwear mixed with young edgy fashion, Florie wears Jane Norman and Kurt Geiger at Debenhams, River Island and Primark .

Retail professional, mum of two and grandmother of two, Stirling-born and now Bo’ness resident Linda Grant’s personal style reflects her love of travel, attending the cinema and dining out. Linda’s motto is “if it feels good on, then it usually looks good on.” Linda wears M&S Collection, Next and Fat Face.

Stirling resident and Glasgow University history lecturer, acclaimed author and dad Michael Rapport straddles the worlds of academia and literature with a busy family life, all with a sophisticated but relaxed ease.

He wears Fat Face, M&S Collection and RJR John Rocha at Debenhams.

Engineer and dad of one Kevin Porter from Alva is a discerning, purveyor of fashion whose personal taste is reflected as much in his music and street culture interests as in his favourite list of brand big hitters.

He wears Adidas Spezial at Schuh, Levi’s at Debenhams and Next.

The Living Brand campaign will be seen extensively over the coming months with the ambassadors featuring in a number of portraits.

Centre Director for The Thistles, Phil Byrne, said: “Living Brand is a celebration of the personal style of a diverse cross section of real people, reflecting their own genuine individuality.”
