PTA match predictions
With the big kick-off two days away, we asked members of Plean Tartan Army for their match predictions.
•Murray Kelly (48) - England 0-1 Scotland: Leigh Griffiths to hit the winner with a McFadden-style wonderstrike
•Stuart Hamill (33) - England 1-2 Scotland: A late Leigh Griffiths double with goals in 82 and 85 minutes, prompting London to turn blue and set in motion divorce proceedings for 35,000 Scots who remain in London for a week.
•Keith Boswell (54) - England 0-1 Scotland: Gordon Strachan’s men to secure a famous victory thanks to a Robert Snodgrass header.
•Craig Summers (35) - England 0-1 Scotland: An early headed goal from a corner or set-piece will do the trick, leaving us to defend a slim lead under heavy pressure from the English for the remainder of the match.
•Brian McLaughlan (35) - England 1-2 Scotland: Oliver Burke to open the scoring in 20 minutes before Leigh Griffiths doubles the lead just before half time.
•Kevin Hutton (45) - England 0-1 Scotland: Leigh Griffiths in eight minutes.
•Gavin Kelly (32) - England 0-2 Scotland: Two goals from Robert Snodgrass will ensure the Tartan Army return home with the bragging rights.
•Gerald Bass (49) - England 2-2 Scotland: Although I’d love the win I think a share of the points is most likely – Griffiths and Snodgrass with the Scotland goals.
•Colin Hutton (46) - England 0-1 Scotland: Grant Hanley to lob Joe Hart from the half way line in 89 minutes.
•John Connell (46) - England 0-1 Scotland: A Leigh Griffiths strike should be enough to take the three points.
