St Mary’s Scottish Episcopal Church Main Street, Aberfoyle. Holy Communion 11.15am on Sunday. All welcome. Rector, Richard Grosse 01877 382887. Parish Church The Service on Sunday will be at the usual time of 11.15am with worship being conducted by Rev Terry Taylor. This will be the first Sunday in Advent with the following Sunday, December 4, being the Sacrament of Holy Communion. There is also a Messy Advent on Sunday, November 27, from 2pm to 4pm at Buchlyvie Church. All ages welcome for crafts, songs, stories, mince pies and marshmallo­w snowmen. Christmas Bazaar This will be held in the Forth Inn Annexe on Saturday December 3 from 10am until 4.30pm. We will be setting up on Friday December 2 when we would be happy to receive donations of unwanted gifts, baking or produce. This is a good opportunit­y to de-clutter those cupboards of presents previously received and not used. This was in previous years promoted as the ‘New 2 U Shop’. Thank You Alison Boa would like to say a big thank you to the Forth Inn for the use of the hall, to all stall holders and Jam Production for the tunes for the Think Pink night. The biggest thank you of all to all those who came to support the night. The grand total of £661.43 was raised for Breast Cancer. Walk in the Park Short walks in and around Aberfoyle, lasting around 45 minutes. Next walk is Monday, November 28. Meet at the woollen mill car park at 10.20am for The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre. Strength and balance exercises for older adults after the Monday walk in the Forth Inn 12.15pm-1pm.
