Kia has opened 2017 with a wide range of tempting offers across its model line-up.

The Korean brand’s dealerships will be holding an SUV event this month to showcase the range of lifestyle vehicles on offer.

Cars ordered before January 31 and registered by March 31 will qualify for Kia’s Care-3 servicing package - free of charge. The offer is available on all Soul and Soul EV, Niro, Sportage and Sorento models.

In addition customers looking to buy the cute Picanto city car can get a three-year zero per cent deal with no deposit up until March 31.

Through till the end of March customers can also get £1,000 savings on Venga and Sorento models as well as on the facelifted Carens.

Caravan Club members buying a Sorento privately through the dealer network will also benefit from an additional £1,000 towards Kia accessories.

Ford’s smart B-MAX MPV is based on its sibling Fiesta – the UK’s most popular car.

The clever B-MAX is nearly as much fun to drive as its sister hatchback but it offers a whole lot more space and versatility.

The B-MAX replaced the unloved boxy Fusion and it has a distinctive design that does away with the traditional pillar between front and back doors.

This allows wide open access from the front hinged doors to the rear sliders – making it a very practical car for young families or those with an active lifestyle.

The model range is available with a variety of trims and engines and I have just been driving the second top Titanium version fitted with Ford’s award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.

It may have only threecylinders but the little engine is always willing and never struggles even in this small MPV. The 999cc power plant delivers its power smoothly and efficiently and never has any problem keeping up with traffic
