Stirling Christadel­phian Church Bible hour at the church at 40 Main Street is held every Sunday from 2.30pm, with Sunday school at the same time. Bowling club Friday bingo at 9pm and on Saturday the club opens at 1pm. Dominoes at 3pm and joker draw 5pm. This year’s Burns Supper will be held on Saturday, February 25. Murrayfiel­d FC Church Service on Sunday will be led by Rev J McPhee at 11.15am while minister Rev Gary Barclay is on pulpit exchange.Target, fabric and charity boxes are still being used in church, thanks to all concerned. Lunch club The lunch club meets on Wednesdays in the Crawford Hall, Colquhoun Street, from 1-3pm and the older members of the community are invited to go on their own or with a friend or carer. Nursery enrolment The 2017/18 school year starts on August 22. Children born between March 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014 (in their pre-school year) are eligible to enrol for nursery. Children born between March 1, 2014 and August 31, 2014 are eligible for nursery enrolment in August 2017 and children born between September 1, 2014 and February 28, 2015 are eligible for nursery enrolment but will not be given a funded place until the term after their third birthday and will be considered for a place in September. Cambusbarr­on Nursery is now taking enrolments for the 2017/18 session. Enrolment forms are available from the school office and parents should complete these and return them by February 28. Please ensure that you bring your child’s birth certificat­e and proof of address documentat­ion with you when you come to enrol. Bruce Memorial Church All welcome to service on Sunday at 11am which will be led by Rev Graham Nash. Bible reading is from Psalm 19, a mix of traditiona­l hymns and contempora­ry songs will be sung and there will be an informal communion at the end of the service.
