There’s only four James Nobletts..

-

A three-week old baby has become the latest in the long line of James Nobletts to grace the Stirling area.

Newborn James Michael Noblett shares a special connection with his ancestors – and it’s more than just through a bloodline and common surname.

For he is the fourth generation born into the family to be named James. And his father James (26), grandfather James (52) and great-grandfather James (79) were all delighted to see their exclusive club boosted by a new member.

The little one was born at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert on January 22 to proud parents Colleen Anderson and, of course, James Noblett who live in Stirling city centre.

The new father’s dad, now known as‘papa J’, is a health and safety manager from Cambusbarron and his father, who is now‘great-papa Jimmy’, is a former construction worker and wrestler now residing at Ashwood House care home in Callander.

Anne, wife of the eldest James, explained that the family have devised their own unique system to stop things getting too confusing at family get-togethers.

She said:“We’re now calling them James one, two, three and four as things can get a bit complicated. My husband’s father was also called James so little James is actually the fifth in the family. It’s something they obviously want to keep going.

“He is three weeks old and doing great at the moment – all the Jameses are delighted with him, as are the whole family.”
