Handy weight cattle were short of requiremen­ts and many more cattle could have been sold. Tuesday, February 14 Forward were 2050 prime hoggets, ewes and tups. Overall sale average for 1473 hoggets was 171.6p pkg (+4.7p on the week). Top price of the day went to J Whiteford and Son, Hilltarvit Mains, Cupar for a Texel X Hogg at £100. Top price per kilo went to Doune Farms for a Beltex Hogg at 211ppkg.
