Handy weight cattle were short of requirements and many more cattle could have been sold. Tuesday, February 14 Forward were 2050 prime hoggets, ewes and tups. Overall sale average for 1473 hoggets was 171.6p pkg (+4.7p on the week). Top price of the day went to J Whiteford and Son, Hilltarvit Mains, Cupar for a Texel X Hogg at £100. Top price per kilo went to Doune Farms for a Beltex Hogg at 211ppkg.
