Class 2S2 topped the list for outstanding effort and for excellent pieces of work. Community Matters The plans to purchase a new minibus for the school are continuing on apace. The grant of £5000 which was awarded after a public vote at Alloa Town Hall in January and a donation of £2500 from the Parent Council will be put to good use. New man The school is delighted that Craig McIntyre has joined the staff as co-ordinator of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport. Craig’s job is to organise a range of activities for students, track their progress and attendance and make links with families to encourage a healthier lifestyle. Craig has been speaking with all students at assemblies this week. Ski Trip Good luck to all students and staff who are going to the Aosta Valley in Italy next week on a ski trip. Option Choice Interviews All option choice forms should now be returned to PTs Pupil support to allow the ongoing work of creating next session’s timetable. Senior Phase Exams The exam block is now complete. Thanks to all staff and students for their co-operation during a busy and stressful time. Easter Revision One week of revision mornings will be taking place at Alloa Academy in the week of April 3-7. Different subjects will be holding sessions each day from 9.30am-1pm and lunch will be served each day. The timetable will be available next week and this is a great opportunity for some focused study before the exams take place.
