Teenagers run riot after Facebook party invasion
Teenagers caused chaos at a birthday party which got out of control.
On Tuesday Bridge of Allan Community Council heard details of a disturbance which took place at a large house on Fountain Road on February 25.
There were 180 youngsters at a 16-year-old’s birthday party, with invitations having spread on Facebook and Twitter.
Neighbours reported seeing eight police cars and two vans in the street.
Damage was done in the house and items were stolen.
Sergeant Alistair Matheson said police had responded quickly to calls and that the crowd had dispersed.
He said:“Verbal abuse was given to police and a police van was damaged by people jumping on top of it.”He said their investigation is continuing.
