Struggled withcops

Sentence has been deferred on a man who struggled with police officers during a disturbance in Riverside.

Michael Dornan (27) resisted, obstructed or hindered two constables at an address on Dean Crescent on August 10.

When he appeared in the dock for sentencing this week Stirling Sheriff Court heard that background reports were yet to be prepared.

Defence solicitor George Pollock told the court this week that Dornan, of Mayfield Drive, Armadale, has a wife and young family whom he supports.

Sheriff William Gilchrist deferred sentence until April 19 for social work reports to be obtained.
