The dinosaur will be entertaining crowds on the Sunday from noon until 2pm.

As well as being thrilled by the ferocious dinosaur kids can try being mini chefs at the kids’tent.

There is also a chance to meet the Easter bunny and follow the spring treasure trail.

And adults can visit the cook demo tent throughout the day to pick up tips on cooking up some spring delights as well as listening to live music across the festival site from a range of Scottish musicians.

StuartWilliams, marketing assistant for the festival, said:“I think a lot of people are fascinated by dinosaurs so this should be an exciting addition to this year’s Springfest.

“We’ve had an amazing response so far online so it looks like festivalgoers are looking forward to getting up close and personal with the T-rex too. We can’t wait.”

Springfest first popped up on the shores of Loch Lomond in 2015.
