Jamieon doubles mission inMiami

There’s no Andy Murray at the Miami Open this week but big brother Jamie will be carrying the family flag.

The world No 1 is resting an injured elbow – as is Novak Djokovic – and is likely to make his next appearance on court in next month’s Davis Cup tie against France in Rouen.

Meanwhile the elder Murray and his Brazilian partner Bruno Soares are seeded No 4 in Miami and will be hoping to improve on their semi-final defeat in Indian Wells last week.

But they’ve been handed a tough first-round draw, meeting experienced duo Treat Huey (Philippines) and Max Mirnyi (Hungary).
