Murrayfield finals prize within touching distance
Stirling County and Strathendrick are both one step away from Murrayfield.
The clubs face semi-final ties tomorrow in the BT Cup and BT National Bowl hoping to progress to finals day on Saturday, April 22.
County are making their first-ever appearance in the semis but they have been handed a tough assignment away to Borders giants Melrose.
The Greenyards side have already clocked up wins over County in the league this season but they expect to be strengthened by the return of their five Scotland Under-20 players who competed the age-grade Six Nations Championships.
The winners will meet either Ayr or Glasgow Hawks in the final.
In the BT National Bowl, Strathendrick make the journey to Blairgowrie for their semi-final tie. The Fintry outfit are nearing the end of a stellar season in BT West League Three where they have lost only once to Loch Lomond. They gained revenge by beating them 25-5 in the West Regional Bowl final.
Their opponents sit in fourth place in BT Caledonia League Two and won the Caledonia Regional Bowl, beating Dundee University Medics 28-6. Moray or Portobello face the winners in the final.
Both matches kick-off at 3pm.
