President set to pay a visit
Forth Valley has been chosen as the first stop for the newly appointed president of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.
Tim Allan will be speaking tonight (Wednesday) at the Macdonald Forest Hills Resort and Spa near Aberfoyle, where Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce is holding its directors’dinner.
Tim, chief executive of award winning Unicorn Property Group, is also the founder and director of Motor Fuel Group, the second-largest independent fuel retailer in the UK.
He also serves as a member on the Court of the University of St Andrews and was previously president of Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce and chair of Young Enterprise Scotland.
He is a recipient of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion and was made a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
Forth Valley Chamber CEO Michelle McKearnon said:“I know Tim’s first challenge is to personally visit all of the Chambers of Commerce in Scotland and I am delighted Forth Valley Chamber is first on his list.
