Poaching offences alleged

Two men have been charged with committing poaching offences at a loch near Strathblane.

The duo, aged 25 and 30, were spotted on Craigallean Loch by two members of the Carbeth Fishery Club on Saturday.

Police were contacted and when officers arrived they found the men, who are both from the Glasgow area, allegedly breaking the law.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
