Retired doctor and former MSP RIchard said he will use his experience if elected.

“The Labour party fights for good jobs, warm homes, caring communities and great schools.

These are my values too.

We have a once in a generation opportunity with a £600M City Region Deal and I will work to ensure all communities benefit.

Labour have exciting plans in our manifesto at www.stirlinglabour.org.

Labour have committed to a municipal bus company; buses should be run to community not commercial priorities.

Labour have committed to a public energy company with lower bills, fixed for longer periods.

Labour have created over 300 new council homes since 2012 and will create more affordable housing to retain and support local people in rural areas.

Labour introduced 600 hours of free preschool child care in Stirling. We want to double it.

I have been a public servant as an NHS Doctor for 30 years and an MSP for 13 years.

I will always argue for rural health services and to ensure that people live in their own homes for as long as possible by increasing the availability of care services.

I will ensure mental health is on an equal footing with physical health in council programs.

As a councillor, I will apply all my political and professional experience if you give me your vote on May 4.”
