Ian (31) has said that he will be a champion for rural people and services.

“As the lambing season starts here on the family farm we are reminded that spring is a time of new beginnings.

Let’s make spring 2017 a time for new ideas and a new administration at Stirling Council. For too long the Forth and Endrick ward has been treated like the poor relation by Stirling Council.

I think we can all agree that it really isn’t too much to expect our council to give the rural areas a fair deal.

If elected I will be a champion for rural people, their businesses and the services they rely upon.

An incoming SNP administration will commit to a new deal for Forth and Endrick.

A new plan for rural transport that provides regular, reliable and joined up transport.

Increased investment in re-surfacing our roads to bring them up to standard.

Work with the Scottish Government to secure rural funding at risk due to Brexit.

A planning policy that meets the needs and aspirations of rural people.

Keeping services local and giving local people real power over how services are run and budgets prioritised.

If you want a councillor who is local and honest consider lending your vote to me.”
