Try sailing for free at Loch Ard event

Loch Ard Sailing Club is hosting a come and try day at its Kinlochard base on Sunday, May 21.

The initiative is part of RYA’s Push the Boat Out, where clubs invite newcomers to try the sport for free.

Club commodore Nigel Orr said: “We sail on one of the most beautiful lochs in Scotland and celebrate our 50th anniversary next year.

“We are delighted to have the chance to show more people what fun sailing can be.”

Starting at 1.30pm, there will be taster sails in dinghies, on-shore activities, shanties and refreshments.
