This year’s Mhor food and drink festival in Highland Perthshire promises an exciting line-up of top chefs.

The three-day festival at the end of May at Monachyle Mhor Farm in Balquhidder will host a number of award-winning chefs and entertainment, including Scottish Chef of the Year, Lorna McNee, from Gleneagles Hotel who will prepare a five-course meal for the Mhor Feast, along with an all-female kitchen.

Other highlights include a raft race, circus skills workshop, and a mobile yurt cinema showing independent films. The festival in Highland Perthshire will also offer onsite camping and glamping options.

Tom Lewis, the founder of the festival, said: “Mhor Festival is more than a food festival. It is a great party with an excellent lineup of our favourite chefs, DJs and musicians.”

Paul Bush, VisitScotland’s events director, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Mhor Festival.

“It promises to be a fantastic family event. Scotland is the perfect stage for events and the team have brought together another strong programme this year.

“With live music, theatre, children’s entertainment and, of course, a great selection of local food and drink on offer, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.”

This year’s Mhor Festival will run from Friday, May 26 until Sunday, May 28. Tickets available at www. mhorfestival.net.
