Roadclosed afterhead-on

The road between Stirling and Loch Lomond was closed for several hours on Wednesday after a serious accident.

The A82 at Balloch was closed in both directions from around 6pm.

Two women were seriously injured in the head-on collision, which occurred close to the Stoneymollan Roundabout.

The road was closed until 2.45am, meaning commuters faced lengthy diversions while police carried out a crash investigation.
