A pirate’s life for Sir Paul

In perhaps the most bizarre piece of casting news of the year so far, it has been confirmed that Sir Paul McCartney will have a cameo role in adventure sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The legendary former Beatle (pictured, right) follows in the footsteps of Rolling Stones icon Keith Richards, who appeared earlier in the franchise.

Meanwhile, British thespian Charles Dance has joined the cast of blockbuster sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters, due for release in March 2019.
