Miners Welfare Social Club Bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm. Friday night will feature the band Crossroads. Community council Meets in the community centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. Stirling Christadel­phian Church hour at the church at 40 Main Street is held every Sunday from 2.30pm, with Sunday school at the same time. Ladywell Church Wedding show takes place on Saturday, June 10, at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £5, are available from office bearers and include refreshmen­ts. On Sunday, June 11, the 60th anniversar­y service will be attended by Rev Lynne Mack, Moderator of Stirling Presbytery, and friends past and present. Members old and new are invited. There will be refreshmen­ts after the service. On Tuesday, June 13 the board meets at 7.30pm with the session immediatel­y after. Community Lunch Club On Monday, June 12 in Allan Church Hall, the club runs from noon-2pm on the second Monday of every month. All members of the community welcome, particular­ly the elderly and those who live alone. Cost £2.50 includes home-made soup, filled roll, tea/coffee and biscuits. Allan Church Service on Sunday at 10.30am will be led by Mrs Margaret Baxter. Sunday school (Christian film club) and creche available. Welcome Team 4 on duty. Parish Church Sunday worship including the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11am and 6.30pm. Both services will be conducted by Rev Dr Alison Jack.
