Almost 2000 people attended the first Binos Live community festival on Sunday at Forthbank.

A mascot race was won by Stirling Albion’s Bino Bear and youngsters had a chance to meet the Stirling Albion first team. Shows, stalls and a range of catering and drink outlets added to the spirit of the day.

The event, opened by Provost Christine Simpson, featured musical acts including Stirling Oasis tribute band Stop The Clocks, Benny Gallagher with The Spirit of Slim Chance, ABBA A-Rival tribute band and Elvis tribute artist Johnny Lee Memphis.

Stirling Albion, Scribbler’s Picnic and Prudential organised the non-profitmaking event the with sponsorship from Fairtrade Stirling, Bala Sport, ACL Hire and Party People.

Funds raised will be donated between cancer related charities and the Stirling Albion Junior Academy.
