day, the early morning family service begins at 9.15am and morning worship is at 10.30am. All are welcome to either or both services. Tea and coffee are served in the hall at the conclusion of the 10.30am service. During the months of July and August, members of the Society of Friends will be on hand from 2-4 pm on Sundays to give guided tours of the cathedral or to answer any questions visitors may have.

Gin Festival Kinbuck Community Hall is holding a Gin Festival on Friday, July 28 from 7.30pm with welcome cocktail and five (full measures) of gin tasting and accompanyi­ng tonics etc. Bottles will be on sale and also a raffle on the night. Menstrie Parish Church A Lunch in aid of Christian Aid and a sponsored walk were held after Sunday’s service. Thanks to all who helped to raise £305 at the last table-top sale. St Mark’s Church Ladies Discussion Group meets again today (Wednesday) for light exercise and healthy discussion followed by a much needed cuppa. All welcome. Familt Church has been moved until July 9 and the preparatio­ns are being held today (Wednesday) in the small hall at approximat­ely 3.30/3.45pm. Final preparatio­ns for Seaside Rock Holiday Club and the setting up of the halls will take place on Friday, June 30 from 2-4pm. The cub this year begins with a celebratio­n service on Sunday, July 2 at 10.50am in the church. The club starts on Monday, July 3 from 1.30-3.30pm with dinner being served at the end of each day.
