Senior Citizens The next coach trip is to Oban on Tuesday, July 25 leaving Dunblane at 9.45am with the usual pick-up points, arriving at St Ninians Toll at 10.15am. St Blane’s Church On Sunday, the morning service will be at 10am. Creche facilities available and tea and coffee will be served in the hall afterwards. During July, the evening service will be a joint service in the Free Church, Beech Road, Dunblane at 6.30pm. Start-up Stirling is having a special drive to get in supplies for the summer months. There is a particular need for tinned food, instant meals, jars of cooking sauce and baby wipes. Lecropt Summer Teas will be held every Saturday in July and August from 2-4pm, cost is £4.50 per person. The minister will be on annual leave untril July 29. Dunblane Cathedral Midweek service tomorrow (Thursday) will combine with the Communion Service which concludes the Royal School of Church Music Residentia­l Course in Dunblane. Please note that the service will begin at 10am. The Music at Midday series of organ recitals continues on Saturday, July 15 with a recital by Gail Archer from the USA, before she heads off to give recitals in London, the Ukraine and Poland. Her programme here will include works by Schumann, Hensel and Mussorgsky. On Sunday, the early morning Family Service will begin at 9.15am lasing 30 minutes. Morning worship is at the usual time of 10.30am. All welcome to attend either or both services. Tea and coffee are served in the hall after the 10.30am service. St Mary’s Episcopal Church The services on Sunday will be at 8.30am and 10.30am and will be taken by Rev Jeanette Allan. There will be tea and coffee after the latter service. Gin Festival Kinbuck Community Hall is holding a Gin Festival on Friday, July 28 from 7.30pm with welcome cocktail and five (full measures) of gin tasting and accompanyi­ng tonics etc. Bottles will be on sale and also a raffle on the night.
