Bowling By tradition, Glasgow Fair Monday is marked with a change of play and as a result of an American Night, Eileen Mayhew, Andy Mayhew and Donald Retson were winners. Last Wednesday’s friendly against Buchanan Arms at Kippen was played in ideal weather and enjoyed by everyone. Kippen won all four matches and will hope to repeat this at tonight’s (Friday’s) Forth and Endrick Knockout Finals. In last Friday’s semi-final matches played at Drymen, Kippen won all five matches. Buchanan Arms also won all five of their matches played at Strathblan­e. Callander BC hosts the Finals tonight (Friday) and for the first time in living memory two club will contest all five final matches, starting at 6.45pm. The Neil Carson Ladies Pairs competitio­n takes place tomorrow (Saturday). All teams are asked to arrive at 9.30am for a prompt start at 10am.
