Killearn Community Council is to hold a meeting to discuss plans for the future of one of its oldest and most prominent buildings.

Members will discuss the revised planning application to turn the Killearn Hotel formerly the Black Bull Hotel - into flats and decide on a response to submit to Stirling Council planners.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday August 16 at 8pm in the Garden Room of the Village Hall (below Three Sisters Bake).

Members of the public are currently a conservatory, plus the replacement of a single-storey flat-roofed extension to the north-west gable with a further extension on a slightly enlarged footprint.

A flat-roofed extension to the south-east gable would be removed and a 25-space car park would be created.

Full details of the application may be seen on Stirling Council’s planning website. Individual comments from members of the public must be submitted by today (Friday).
